I collect as little data as possible, only to answer your requests and send you what you asked for. This page explains which data, why, and how to exercise your rights.

What data, and what for?

Contact form

  • Data: last name, first name, email, company, message.
  • Purpose: to answer your request and, where relevant, prepare a proposal.
  • Legal basis: your consent (checkbox) and pre-contractual measures taken at your request.
  • Retention period: 3 years from our last exchange, unless a collaboration follows.

Resource downloads and newsletter

  • Data: first name, email and company.
  • Purpose: to send you the requested resource and, if you agreed, content related to customer experience (articles, new resources, training).
  • Legal basis: your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email.
  • Retention period: until you unsubscribe, or 3 years without any interaction from you.

Clients and training participants

  • Data: professional contact details, information needed for organisation and invoicing.
  • Legal basis: performance of the contract and my legal obligations (accounting).
  • Retention period: 7 years for accounting records, in line with Belgian law.

Your data is never sold or rented.

Who has access to your data?

Only me, along with the technical providers that allow me to run the website and my mailings:

  • Hostinger: website hosting;
  • Brevo (France): sending emails and managing contacts;
  • Google (reCAPTCHA): protecting forms against spam;
  • Google Analytics or another analytics tool.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union, notably Google in the United States. These transfers are covered by the safeguards provided for by the GDPR (EU-US Data Privacy Framework adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses).

Cookies

The website uses:

  • technical cookies, necessary for it to work;
  • Google reCAPTCHA, which analyses your browsing to distinguish a human from a bot and protect forms;
  • audience measurement and marketing cookies, only with your consent.

You can manage or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data. You can also withdraw your consent at any time.

Security

The website is protected by an SSL certificate (https), and access to the administration area is secured. I take reasonable measures to protect your data against loss, unauthorised access or disclosure.
